Starting and Stopping the Predictor Service

You can start and stop the Predictor service using Commerce Server Manager for troubleshooting and performance analysis purposes. You can also stop the Predictor service using the Administrative Tools in Microsoft Windows 2000, but it is preferable to use Commerce Server Manager so that the Predictor service user interface can update accordingly. When the Predictor service is started or stopped, the event is recorded in the event log of the local computer.
