IComponentType::Clone Method

The Clone method creates a new copy of this component type.

Syntax

HRESULT Clone(
  [out]  IComponentType **ppNewCT
);

Parameters

  • ppNewCT [out]
    Address of the IComponentType interface pointer that will be set to the returned interface.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful. If the method fails, error information can be retrieved using the standard COM IErrorInfo interface.

Requirements

Header Declared in Dshow.h.
DLL Requires Quartz.dll.
