IATSC_ETT::GetExtendedMessageText Method
This topic applies to Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and later.
The GetExtendedMessageText method returns the message text.
Syntax
HRESULT GetExtendedMessageText(
[out] DWORD *pdwLength,
[out] BYTE **ppText
);
Parameters
pdwLength [out]
Receives the length of the title text, in bytes.ppText [out]
Receives a pointer to the title text buffer. The method allocates the buffer and fills it with the title text, which is formatted as a Multiple String Structure as defined by ATSC PSIP Standard A/65. The caller must free the buffer by calling CoTaskMemFree.
Return Value
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include those in the following table.
