ReturnExpiredEnable Property of the IFPCCacheConfiguration Interface

The ReturnExpiredEnable property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the Forefront TMG Web proxy returns expired cached objects when an updated object cannot be retrieved, or issues an error response.

Parameters

  • fEnabled
    Boolean value that indicates whether the Forefront TMG Web proxy returns expired cached objects when an updated object cannot be retrieved (VARIANT_TRUE), or issues an error response (VARIANT_FALSE).

  • pfEnabled
    Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if expired cached objects are returned when an updated object cannot be retrieved, or to VARIANT_FALSE if error responses are issued.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).
