The SetLimitSourcePortRange method sets the lower and upper limits of the range of source port numbers to which the rule applies.

);

Parameters

  • PortLow
    A 32-bit integer that specifies the lower limit of the source port range to which the rule applies.

  • PortHi
    A 32-bit integer that specifies the upper limit of the source port range to which the rule applies.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Parameters

  • PortLow
    A 32-bit integer that specifies the lower limit of the source port range to which the rule applies.

  • PortHi

Return Value

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

For access rules and server publishing rules, the lower and upper limits of the source port range can also be set when the rules are created in Forefront TMG Management. However, for Web Publishing rules, the limits of this range can be set only by using this method.
