ImportSecurIDDomainSecret Method of the IFPCSecurIDAuthenticationProperties Interface

The ImportSecurIDDomainSecret method imports the RSA SecurID domain secret from a file.

  [in]  BSTR FileName,
  [in]  BSTR Password
);

Parameters

  • FileName
    Required. BSTR that specifies the full path of the file from which the domain secret will be imported.
  • Password
    Required. BSTR that specifies the password protecting the file containing the domain secret.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

  • FileName
    Required. String that specifies the full path of the file from which the domain secret will be imported.
  • Password

Return Value

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

Use the ExportSecurIDDomainSecret method to import a domain secret from a file, or the GenerateSecurIDDomainSecret method to generate a new domain secret.
