The SignalLowResourceFailure method signals the Microsoft Firewall service that a failure related to low resources has occurred.

Syntax

HRESULT SignalLowResourceFailure(
  [in]  DWORD hCookie
);

Parameters

  • hCookie
    Identifier that indicates where the failure occurred.

Return Value

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
