SQLForceEncryption Property of the IFPCReportingServicesProperties Interface

The SQLForceEncryption property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether a secure channel that enforces encryption is to be used when connecting to the SQL Server database.

Parameters

  • pfSQLForceEncryption
    Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if a secure channel that enforces encryption is to be used when connecting to the SQL Server database, or to VARIANT_FALSE if a secure channel is not to used when connecting to the database.

  • fSQLForceEncryption
    Boolean value that indicates whether a secure channel that enforces encryption is to be used when connecting to the SQL Server database.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. The default value is True (VARIANT_TRUE in C++).
