DelegateBasicCredentials Property of the IFPCWebPublishingProperties Interface

The DelegateBasicCredentials property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the Forefront TMG Web proxy will forward the credentials provided by a user for Basic authentication to the published server. When a user's credentials are forwarded to the published server, the published server can authenticate the user without requesting credentials from the user for a second time.

C++

HRESULT put_DelegateBasicCredentials(
    VARIANT_BOOL fDelegateBasicCredentials
);
HRESULT get_DelegateBasicCredentials(
    VARIANT_BOOL* pfDelegateBasicCredentials
);

Parameters

  • fDelegateBasicCredentials
    Boolean value that indicates whether the Forefront TMG Web proxy will forward the credentials provided by a user for Basic authentication to the published Web server.

  • pfDelegateBasicCredentials
    Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if the Forefront TMG Web proxy will forward the credentials provided by a user for Basic authentication to the published Web server, or to VARIANT_FALSE if the Forefront TMG Web proxy will not forward the credentials provided by a user for Basic authentication to the published server.

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.
