ISecurityTokenCache.IsSynchronized Property
Gets a value that indicates whether access to the cache is synchronized (thread safe).
Namespace: Microsoft.Web.Services2.Security.Tokens
Assembly: Microsoft.Web.Services2 (in microsoft.web.services2.dll)
Usage
'Usage
Dim iSecurityTokenCache1 As ISecurityTokenCache
Dim returnValue As Boolean
returnValue = iSecurityTokenCache1.IsSynchronized
Syntax
'Declaration
ReadOnly Property IsSynchronized() As Boolean
bool IsSynchronized {get;}
property Boolean IsSynchronized{
Boolean get();
}
public boolean get_IsSynchronized();
function get IsSynchronized() : Boolean;
Property Value
true if access to the cache is synchronized; otherwise, false.
Remarks
Enumerating through a cache is intrinsically not a thread-safe procedure. Even when a cache is synchronized, other threads can still modify the cache, which causes the enumerator to throw an exception. To maintain thread safety during enumeration, you can either lock the cache during the entire enumeration or catch the exceptions that result from changes made by other threads.
Thread Safety
Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
