This helper class provides methods used for Passport authentication for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.

The following IdCrlWrapper classes are supported.

Class Description
LogonManager Authenticates a user with the Windows Live ID service.

Note   The IdCrlWrapper class is provided as an initial solution for Windows Live authentication. Another solution based on the Windows Live ID SDK may be provided in a future release. The wrapper has the following limitations:

  • The performance implications when using the LogonManager class are not known at this time.
  • The Microsoft IdCrl does not work correctly if the logon user is the Network Service account.
  • The Microsoft IdCrl unmanaged assembly (msidcrl40.dll) is COM-based. Any application that links to that assembly cannot be digitally signed.
