Represents an activity that is delivered using e-mail protocols.

The email class inherits from BusinessEntity. It exposes the following members.

email Initializes a new instance of the email class.

activityid Gets or sets the ID of the e-mail activity.
actualdurationminutes Gets or sets the duration for the e-mail activity specified in minutes.
actualend Gets or sets the time when the e-mail activity ends.
actualstart Gets or sets the time when the e-mail activity begins.
bcc Gets or sets the blind carbon copy (BCC) recipients.
category Gets or sets the category of the activity.
cc Gets or sets the carbon copy (CC) recipients.
compressed Gets a value that indicates whether the email body is compressed.
createdby Gets or sets the ID of the user who created the e-mail activity.
createdon Gets or sets the date and time when the e-mail activity was created.
createdonbehalfby Gets the ID of the proxy user who created the e-mail activity record.
deliveryreceiptrequested Gets or sets the delivery receipt requested.
description Gets or sets the main body text of the e-mail.
directioncode Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the message came in to Microsoft Dynamics CRM or was sent out.
from Gets or sets the information about who sent the e-mail.
importsequencenumber Gets or sets the ID of the data import or data migration that created this record.
isbilled Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the e-mail activity is billed as part of resolving a case.
isworkflowcreated Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the e-mail was created by a workflow rule.
messageid Gets or sets the ID of the e-mail message. Used only for e-mail that is received.
mimetype Gets or sets the MIME type of the e-mail message data.
modifiedby Gets or sets the ID of the user who last modified the e-mail activity.
modifiedon Gets or sets the date and time when the e-mail was last modified.
modifiedonbehalfby Gets the ID of the proxy user who last modified the e-mail activity.
notifications Gets or sets the notifications for the detail form.
overriddencreatedon Gets or sets the date and time that the record was migrated.
ownerid Gets or sets the ID of the user or queue that owns the e-mail activity.
owningbusinessunit Gets or sets the business unit that owns the e-mail activity.
prioritycode Gets or sets the priority code of the e-mail.
readreceiptrequested Gets or sets a value that indicates whether a read receipt is requested.
regardingobjectid Gets or sets the ID of the entity instance with which the e-mail is associated.
scheduleddurationminutes Gets or sets the scheduled duration of the e-mail activity, specified in minutes.
scheduledend Gets or sets the scheduled end time of the e-mail activity.
scheduledstart Gets or sets the scheduled start time of the e-mail activity.
sender Gets or sets the sender of the e-mail.
serviceid Gets or sets the ID for the associated service.
statecode Gets or sets the status of the e-mail activity.
statuscode Gets or sets the reason for the status of the e-mail activity.
subcategory Gets or sets the subcategory of the e-mail activity.
subject Gets or sets the subject associated with the e-mail activity.
submittedby Gets or sets the e-mail delivery source.
timezoneruleversionnumber For internal use only.
to Gets or sets the recipient party list for the e-mail, and references recipient records such as users and queues.
torecipients Gets or sets the string that lists e-mail addresses corresponding to the recipients.
trackingtoken Gets or sets the tracking token number.
utcconversiontimezonecode Gets or sets the time zone code in use when the record was created.

Remarks

This table lists only the attributes for a default system. For more information about the entities and attributes in your organization, see the Customization area of the Web application. To view this information in the Customization area, in the Navigation Pane, click Settings, click Customization, and then click Customize Entities. You can change the view to see non-customizable entities.
