Forcing a Catalog Update

To make your new pages available in the Find box immediately, you can force an update of the Web catalog or Microsoft Dynamics CRM Help catalog in the Indexing Service.
To update the index
- On the Start menu, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Computer Management.
- In the console tree, under Services and Applications, click Indexing Service.
- Select the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Help catalog.
- On the Action menu, point to All Tasks, and then click Stop.
- On the Action menu, point to All Tasks, and then click Start.
- Close all applications other than Computer Management, and wait a few minutes. The value in the Docs to Index column for the catalog will update to the number of new or changed pages and then return to 0. When it returns to 0, your pages will be available from Find.
