Stopping and Starting the Asynchronous Service

The asynchronous service can be stopped and restarted by using the Windows Services tool. The service should be stopped before a plug-in assembly that contains asynchronous plug-ins is deleted.
The following figure shows the Services tool where you can stop or start the asynchronous service.
To start or stop the service, follow these steps:
- Run the Windows Services tool.
- Right-click Microsoft CRM Asynchronous Processing Service.
- Click Start or Stop. Or, you can click Properties in the shortcut menu and then click Start or Stop in the dialog box.
You must have System Administrator privileges to stop or start the service.
