The system job and bulk operation entities represent long-running operations. These operations run independently of the main Microsoft Dynamics CRM system execution path to improve system performance. The system job is a general purpose asynchronous entity used mostly for execution of plug-ins and workflows. The bulk operation entities are used for campaign management operations.
