The Notes feature in Microsoft Dynamics Marketing lets users attach notes to various entities throughout the system. Notes can be associated with just about anything that is tracked in Dynamics Marketing and are ideal for storing comments, thoughts, and snippets of information. Notes are threaded and allow replies and comments. They are often used for online discussions and collaboration. The View Notes page lists all notes throughout the system.

View notes

To view notes, do one of the following:

  • To view all notes in the system, go to Projects > Notes> Notes.

  • To view notes connected to a specific entity, go to the maintenance page for the appropriate item (job, contact, task, etc.) and then open its Notes related-information tab.

To view all notes in the system: go to Projects > Notes> Notes.

Create a note

  1. Choose the New button New button.

  2. Enter the information.

  3. Choose Submit.

Reply to a note

  1. Choose the check box on the note you want to reply to.

  2. Choose the Reply button Reply button.

  3. Enter the information.

  4. Choose Submit.
