Refresh Production Order Batch Job

Calculates and updates production orders. If your warehouse location is set up to require pick or put-away processing, then you can create warehouse requests to put-away output.

The production order BOM is generated from the item production BOM calculation. The program copies the production routing into the production order header from the item routing.

Note

It is not allowed to refresh a reserved production order. You can restore the reservation after the production order is refreshed, but in that case you should cancel the reservation before you refresh.

Note

Using filters, you have the ability to refresh multiple orders at once. For instance, if you wanted to calculate and update all released production orders, you would enter Released in the Status filter and leave the No. filter empty.

Options

Scheduling Direction: Here you can define whether you want the scheduling to be refreshed forward or backward.

Forward scheduling begins at the starting date and proceeds forward to the finishing date. Backward scheduling begins from the ending date and proceeds backward to the required starting date.

Calculate Lines: Place a check mark here if you want the program to calculate the production order lines.

Calculate Routings: Place a check mark here if you want the program to calculate the routing.

Calculate Component Need: Place a check mark here if you want the program to calculate the component requirement.

Warehouse Create Inbound Request: If the warehouse location is set up to require put-away processing but does not use directed put-away and pick, place a check mark here to create a warehouse request for the putting away of the production order output.
