Task 8: Compile Imported Objects

This topic describes how to compile the imported Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 objects.

To compile the imported objects

  1. In Object Designer, choose All.

  2. Press Ctrl+A to select all objects.

  3. Press F11 to compile all objects.

The database has now been restored into Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 and the new customized objects have been imported into the database.

Warning

You may receive compilation errors regarding the customized Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 objects that you imported. These issues must be resolved before you continue with the upgrade.

Note

When compiling Page 5177 from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009, you may see this error message: "The variable QUERY is defined more than once…" The issue is that QUERY has become a reserved keyword in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2.
