Microsoft Dynamics CRM Transaction Currency Coupling Window

Specifies a coupling between a currency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and a transaction currency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. A coupling links the currency record to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM transaction currency record.

The coupling enables the following functionality:

  • You can open the coupled transaction currency directly in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

  • You can synchronize the currency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM transaction currency, so that data in currency fields that are mapped to corresponding fields in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM transaction currency is the same in both locations.

To set up the coupling between a currency and a Microsoft Dynamics CRM transaction currency, on the Coupling FastTab, set the Transaction Currency field to an existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM transaction currency. Or, to create and couple to a new transaction currency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, select the Create New Transaction Currency check box.

You can use the information in the Coupled Records FastTab to help you determine which Microsoft Dynamics CRM transaction currency is coupled to the currency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The Coupled Records FastTab lists the some of the fields for the currency and the corresponding mapped fields for the selected Microsoft Dynamics CRM transaction currency. The Dynamics NAV Currency column displays the current field values in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the Dynamics CRM Transaction Currency column displays the current field values in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
