Synchronize After Coupling

Specifies whether to synchronize the data in the customer in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the account in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

You can use this option to make the data in specific fields of the customer the same as the data in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM account. Synchronization is performed only on fields of the customer and Microsoft Dynamics CRM account that are mapped together. In the Coupled Records FastTab, you can see the current data in most of the mapped fields. The following table describes the options for this field.

Yes - Use the Dynamics NAV Data

Copies the data from mapped fields of the customer in Microsoft Dynamics NAV to the account record in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. If an account field has existing data, it will be overwritten.

If you choose to create a new account in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, this option is selected by default and cannot be changed.

Yes - Use the Dynamics CRM Data

Copies the data from mapped fields of the account in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to the customer record in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. If a customer field has existing data, it will be overwritten by the data from Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Note

Synchronization occurs after you close the window by choosing the OK button.
