Edit Connection String Dialog Box

Use the Edit Connection String dialog box to edit a local connection string. A local connection string is a connection string that is defined at the current level, and is not inherited from higher levels.

Dialog Fields

Field	Description
Name	Displays the name of the connection string. You cannot change this value.
Server	Specify the name of the server on which the persistence database runs.
Database	Specifies the name of the persistence database.

Note

This dialog box does not try to connect to the persistence database; it just updates the connectionString entry in the configuration file associated with the selected level (server, site, application etc…).
