RouteDirection Property of the IFPCSmtpRoute Interface

The RouteDirection property gets or sets a value from the FpcSmtpRouteDirection enumerated type that indicates whether the route is to internal or external mail servers.

Parameters

  • RouteDirection
    Value from the FpcSmtpRouteDirection enumerated type that specifies whether the route is to internal or external mail servers.

  • pRouteDirection
    Pointer to a variable that on return receives a value from the FpcSmtpRouteDirection enumerated type indicating whether the route is to internal or external mail servers.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is fpcInternetMailServer, which indicates that the route listens for inbound mail from external SMTP servers, which typically reside on the Internet.
