clear method

Clears all existing items from the list, which creates an empty list.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.clear();

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

This method can return one of these values.

Return code	Description
W3CException_DOM_NO_MODIFICATION_ALLOWED_ERR	An attempt is made to modify the list when it cannot be modified.
