ClusterConfig.SetNodeAutoOnline Method

Specifies whether compute nodes on the cluster in a given role should be automatically taken online after deployment completes. This will override the result automatically generated by evaluating the csdef file.

Parameters

  • roleName
    The role name.
  • autoOnline
    True to automatically take offline; false otherwise.

Remarks

Users can still take compute nodes offline by logging into any one of the nodes through remote desktop and executing node offline.

Platform Note: This method was introduced in the Windows Azure SDK v 1.6 with the Windows Azure HPC Scheduler SDK. It is not supported in previous versions.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
