Before this Microsoft Office 365 for enterprises service upgrade is released to all users in your organization, you can select up to 100 people to receive the upgrade early. This will help you prepare yourself, your support staff, and other key users for the changes. Use this early service upgrade in a way that makes sense for your organization:
Upgrade an existing administrator and a few existing users now, and then upgrade more users later.
Create a test administrator account and some test user accounts, and then upgrade them. When you’re comfortable and understand the impact the upgrade will have, add some real administrators and users.
We recommend starting your early upgrade as soon as possible. This will provide the information you’ll need to either stay with the upgrade timing proposed by Microsoft or request postponing the upgrade. After you postpone this upgrade, you won’t be able to upgrade additional users before the upgrade starts.
When you select a user for an early upgrade, they’ll see changes to many services. For a complete list of what’s new in this service upgrade, see the Office 365 Service Upgrade Center.
Administrators who are upgraded will also see changes to the Admin page. They can administer users who either have or have not yet been upgraded:
If an upgraded administrator adds a new user through the Admin page, the user isn’t included in the early upgrade.
If an upgraded administrator adds a new user through Exchange admin center, the user is included in the early upgrade.
After an administrator or user has been upgraded, they can’t be rolled back. They won’t lose any data when they are upgraded.

Select users for early upgrade
Click select users.
On the select a global administrator page, click +.
Type or paste the name or user ID of a global administrator, and then click the Search icon.
Or, to see all the global administrators, with the cursor in the Search box, press the Enter key, and then select the global administrators to add.
Select administrators to add. You can select multiple administrators by pressing the Ctrl key, and then clicking each user’s name.
On the select users page, either add users one a time or add users in bulk:
To add users one at a time:
Type or paste the names or user IDs, and then click the Search icon.
Or, to see all the users, with the cursor in the box, press the Enter key, and then select the users to add. You can select multiple users by pressing the Ctrl key, and then clicking each user’s name.
Click upgrade. Select users
To add multiple users at the same time:
Click Upgrade users in bulk.
Type or paste a list of user IDs into the Add users box.
User IDs must be separated by either a comma or a semicolon, or each user ID can be on a separate line.
In the confirmation dialog box, click yes.
