Copy driving directions to another document

  1. Open the map file with the route that contains the directions you want to copy.

  2. On the Edit menu, click Copy Directions.

    Your directions are copied to the Clipboard.

  3. Paste the directions into your document.

    To paste in many Windows-based programs, either press CTRL+V or click Paste on the Edit menu.

Note  The format of the driving directions depends on the document into which you copy them. For example, directions are copied as a table into a Word document and as rows and columns into an Excel spreadsheet.
