See your current location using GPS

To see your current location using GPS, you must have already installed and configured your GPS receiver.

On the Tools menu in MapPoint, point to GPS, and then click Track Position.

To keep the map always centered on your current position, on the Tools menu, point to GPS, and then click Always Show Position.

To view the latitude and longitude coordinates of your current location, on the Tools menu, point to GPS, and then click GPS Sensor.

Notes

If you are using the GPS Sensor and can't see the GPS icon, move the GPS Sensor to see if the icon is hidden behind it.
