Send a picture of a map by e-mail

  1. Move the map to get the map view you want to copy.

    How?

    Tip  You can resize the program window or panes to crop the view of the map you want to send.

  2. On the File menu, point to Send To, and then click Mail Recipient (as Picture).

    This menu command is available only if Microsoft Outlook is installed on your computer.

    To set a default profile for Microsoft Outlook

    a. In the Choose Profile box, select one of the following from the drop-down menu:

    To add a new profile, click New, and then follow the instructions provided by the Inbox Setup Wizard.

    Click Options to set a default profile, or to show logon screens for all information services.

    b. Click OK.

  3. Type the e-mail address for your recipient, and send the message.

Notes

You can also use the Select tool  Select button on the Navigation toolbar to select an area of the map instead of sending the whole map view.

Remember that copyright rules apply to maps.
