Add or remove a COM add-in

To add a COM add-in

  1. On the Tools menu, click COM Add-ins.
  2. Click Add, locate and click the add-in you want, and then click Open.

To remove a COM add-in

  1. On the Tools menu, click COM Add-ins.
  2. Select the add-in in the Add-ins available list, and then click Remove.

Notes

An add-in must be loaded before it can be added and therefore used.

Removing an add-in removes it from the Add-ins available list but does not delete it from your computer.
