Change currency setting

You can change the symbol that MapPoint uses to indicate currency, such as the dollar sign ($) or the euro symbol (€), by changing the currency setting.

To change the currency setting using Windows Vista or Windows 7

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Clock, Language, and Region.

  2. Click Regional and Language Options.

  3. On the Formats tab, under Current format menu, click the list to select the format you want.

  4. Click Apply, and then click OK.

If you have made changes to your Control Panel and cannot follow the above steps, you can change your currency setting by doing one of the following:

  • If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7, click Start, and then type intl.cpl in the search box.

  • If you use Windows XP, click Start, click Run…, and then type intl.cpl in the Open box.

Note   Changing the currency setting will not convert values in MapPoint. Changing the currency setting only replaces the original currency symbol with the new one.
