The assembly that contains this class has a friend relationship with SQLAccess.dll.  It is intended for use by SQL Server.  For other databases, use the hosting mechanism provided by that database.

Return Value

Throws an InvalidOperationException. Providers are required to keep track of the total number of parameters in the statement.
