Deprecated. Messenger Basic IM Object Interface - old version.

Note The IBasicIMOld interface is available for use in Microsoft Windows Messenger 4.7. It might be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions of Windows Messenger. You should use IMessenger instead.

AdviseOE Not currently supported.

AutoLogon Initiates a Logon without using a user interface (UI) if the user is connected to the network and has saved a password.
Note  The IBasicIMOld::AutoLogon method is available for use in Windows Messenger 4.7. It might be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions of Windows Messenger. You should use IMessenger::AutoSignin instead.

ContactList Not currently supported.

CreateUser Creates a Basic Instant Messaging Service (IM) user object.
Note  The IBasicIMOld::CreateUser method is available for use in Windows Messenger 4.7. It might be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions of Windows Messenger. You should use IMessenger::GetContact instead.

LaunchAddContactUI Initiates an Add Contact dialog.
Note  The IBasicIMOld::LaunchAddContactUI method type is available for use in Windows Messenger 4.7. It might be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions of Windows Messenger. You should use IMessenger::AddContact instead.

LaunchIMUI Initiates an IM Window.
Note  The IBasicIMOld::LaunchIMUI method is available for use in Windows Messenger 4.7. It might be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions of Windows Messenger.

LaunchLogonUI Initiates a Logon dialog.
Note  The IBasicIMOld::LaunchLogonUI method is available for use in Windows Messenger 4.7. It might be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions of Windows Messenger. You should use IMessenger::Signin instead.

LaunchOptionsUI Initiates an Options dialog.

LocalLogonName Not currently supported.

LocalState Not currently supported.

Logoff Not currently supported.
