IWMSAdminNetworkDataSourcePlugin::SetProxyHostName

The SetProxyHostName method specifies the name of the proxy server.

Syntax

  HRESULT SetProxyHostName(
  BSTR  bstrProtocol,
  BSTR  bstrHostName
);

Parameters

bstrProtocol

[in] BSTR containing the name of the protocol. This must be HTTP or RTSP.

bstrHostName

[in] BSTR containing the proxy host name.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Return code Number Description
E_INVALIDARG 0x80070057 There cannot be spaces in the proxy host name.
NS_E_INVALID_REQUEST 0xC00D002B The bstrProtocol parameter must be HTTP or RTSP.
