IWMSPublishingPoint::get_Status
The get_Status method retrieves the publishing point status.
Syntax
HRESULT get_Status( WMS_PUBLISHING_POINT_STATUS* pVal );
Parameters
pVal
[out] Pointer to a member of a WMS_PUBLISHING_POINT_STATUS enumeration type that indicates the status. This must be one of the following values.
| Value | Description |
| WMS_PUBLISHING_POINT_ERROR | Indicates that an authentication or authorization plug-in has failed. |
| WMS_PUBLISHING_POINT_ERROR_CRITICAL | Indicates that an error has occurred on a plug-in. |
| WMS_PUBLISHING_POINT_RUNNING | Indicates that the publishing point is running and accepting all client connections. |
Return Values
If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.

| E_POINTER | 0x80004003 | Indicates that pVal is a NULL pointer argument. |
| NS_E_PUBLISHING_POINT_REMOVED | 0xC00D145AL | Indicates that the publishing point was already removed. |
