IWMSServerCurrentCounters::get_StreamingMMSPlayers

The get_StreamingMMSPlayers method retrieves the number of players receiving streamed content from the publishing point using the MMS protocol.

Syntax

  HRESULT get_StreamingMMSPlayers(
  long*  pVal
);

Parameters

pVal

[out] Pointer to a long containing the number of players receiving streamed content from the publishing point using the MMS protocol.

Return Values

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Return code	Number	Description
E_POINTER	0x80004003	Indicates that pVal is a NULL pointer argument.

Remarks

Clients that have stopped or paused rendering the stream are not included in the count.

In Windows Server 2008 operating systems, this method always returns 0 in pVal.
