UnsafeNativeMethods.Vector2.Transform(Vector4,Vector2,Matrix) Method (Microsoft.DirectX)

Transforms a 2-D vector or an array of 2-D vectors by a given matrix.

Note: For programming in Microsoft Visual Basic .NET or Microsoft JScript .NET, use the equivalent method in the Microsoft.DirectX structures.

Definition

Visual Basic Public Shared Function Transform( _
    ByVal pOut As Vector4, _
    ByVal pSource As Vector2, _
    ByVal pSourceMatrix As Matrix _
) As Vector4
C# public static Vector4 Transform(
    Vector4 pOut,
    Vector2 pSource,
    Matrix pSourceMatrix
);
C++ public:
static Vector4 Transform(
    Vector4 pOut,
    Vector2 pSource,
    Matrix pSourceMatrix
);
JScript public static function Transform(
    pOut : Vector4,
    pSource : Vector2,
    pSourceMatrix : Matrix
) : Vector4;

Parameters

pOut Microsoft.DirectX.Vector4
A Vector4 structure that is the result of the method.
pSource Microsoft.DirectX.Vector2
Source Vector2 structure.
pSourceMatrix Microsoft.DirectX.Matrix
Source Matrix structure.

Return Value

Microsoft.DirectX.Vector4
A Vector4 structure that is the result of the method.

Remarks

This method transforms the pSource vector (x, y, 0, 1) by the matrix pSourceMatrix.

The return value for this method is the same value returned in the pOut parameter. This allows you to use the Transform method as a parameter for another method.
