BM_SETCHECK

This message is sent by an application to set the check state of a radio button or check box.

BM_SETCHECK wParam = (WPARAM) fCheck, lParam = 0;

Parameters

  • fCheck
    Specifies the check state. It is one of the following values:
    Value Description
    BST_CHECKED Sets the button state to checked.
    BST_INDETERMINATE Sets the button state to grayed, indicating an indeterminate state. Use this value only if the button has the BS_3STATE or BS_AUTO3STATE style.
    BST_UNCHECKED Sets the button state to unchecked.

Return Values

This message always returns zero.

Remarks

The BM_SETCHECK message has no effect on push buttons.

Runs On Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 1.0 and later Winuser.h    

Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
