This property retrieves a value indicating whether the current file has the ability to seek to a specific time.
Syntax
MediaPlayer.CanSeek
Possible Values
This property is a read-only Boolean.
Remarks
Seeking is accomplished by sliding the position indicator on the Windows Media Player trackbar or by setting either the CurrentMarker or CurrentPosition property.
If a media file has not been selected for the player, by setting the FileName property or calling the Open method, the value of this property will be false.
