Configuring Communicator Web Access Clients

Topic Last Modified: 2009-02-27

After you finish setting up a Communicator Web Access server, it does not necessarily mean that users can immediately begin using the service. Instead, you must make sure that your users have been enabled for Communicator Web Access. In addition, if you have implemented Integrated Windows authentication, you need to configure users’ Web browsers to enable them to log on to your Communicator Web Access sites without having to type in a user name and password.

Note

If you do not do this, users will still be able to log on to Communicator Web Access, but only by supplying a user name and password every time they log on.

Finally, you need to instruct users who are running Firefox 3.0 on how to keep a security warning from appearing each time they receive an instant message.
