User Experience During Phase 4 of Migration
Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 will reach end of support on January 9, 2018. To stay supported, you will need to upgrade. For more information, see Resources to help you upgrade your Office 2007 servers and clients.
Because the production users are still homed on the Live Communications Server pool, there will be no change in user experience. A best practice for this point in the migration is to create several test accounts, move them to the new pool, and then validate the functionality of the system. Move the test accounts to the new pool and validate the configuration before moving production users as described in Phase 7: Move Production Users.
