The ProxyPort property of the GlobalProperties class gets or sets the port number to use for the proxy server when crawling content.

The port number to use for the proxy server when crawling content.

Remarks

The GlobalProperties class has five properties related to proxy server configuration: ProxyAddress, ProxyBypassList, ProxyBypassLocal, ProxyPort, and ProxyType. The search service uses these properties as it crawls site content for inclusion in the content index.
