About the SIP Managed Application API
The Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Server SDK SIP Managed Application API consists of a set of elements that can be used to develop managed code applications that implement Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) concepts and behaviors.
A SIP managed application is defined as a managed code executable that:
Uses classes defined in the Microsoft.Rtc.Sip namespace.
Is registered with the Office Communications Server through the class as defined in the Communications Server WMI schema.
Has at least one ServerAgent instance that is instantiated by calling the class constructor and supplying an ApplicationManifest object that contains a compiled application manifest.
For more information:
See Using the SIP Managed Application API for help on performing common SIP managed application tasks, along with sample code.
See the SIP Managed Application API Reference for descriptions of classes and members in the Microsoft.Rtc.Sip namespace, as well as a list of the .NET Framework types that the classes in this namespace use.
