This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.

The CDO for Exchange 2000 Server (CDOEX) object model is designed to support a single Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) Configuration CoClass object that is shared across a wide array of objects. Each top-level CDO object stores a reference to this central Configuration CoClass object through a Configuration property on an associated interface. The following table lists these top-level Component Object Model (COM) classes and the interface through which the Configuration reference is set.

Class Property
Item CoClass Item.Configuration Property
Folder CoClass Folder.Configuration Property
Message CoClass Message.Configuration Property
CalendarMessage CoClass CalendarMessage.Configuration Property
Appointment CoClass Appointment.Configuration Property
Person CoClass Person.Configuration Property
Addressee CoClass Addressee.Configuration Property
