Read-only.
As you create or add resources to the project, Microsoft Office Project Server automatically assigns the next number in the sequence of resources listed. This becomes the RES_ID.
RES_ID is not a unique identifier for the resource. It changes whenever the order of resources changes. The persistent unique identifier is RES_UID.
