SP.Field.typeDisplayName property (sp.js)

Gets a value that specifies the display name for the type of the field.

var value = SP.Field.get_typeDisplayName ()

Return value

Type: String

A string that contains the display name of the field type.

Remarks

It must not be null. It must not be empty.
