Unregister Instance (General)

Use to unregister an instance of Microsoft SQL Server Notification Services on the local computer. Unregistering removes registry information for the instance. Also, if a Microsoft Windows service exists for the instance, unregistering the instance removes the Windows service and performance counters.

Note

The Unregister Instance dialog box does not support unregistering the instance on remote servers.
