Gets the version of the connected instance of SQL Server.

Property Value

A ServerVersion object value that specifies the version of the connected instance of SQL Server.

Remarks

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
