Replace Table with Other Table Dialog Box

Use the Replace Table with Other Table dialog box in Business Intelligence Development Studio to replace an existing table in a data source view with a table in the underlying data source that is not yet included in the data source view. You can display the Replace Table with Other Table dialog box by right-clicking the name of a table in the Diagram or Tables pane of Data Source View Designer and selecting With Other Table from Replace Table.

Options

• Data source
  Select the data source from which to retrieve the table.

• Grid
  Displays the objects and their types available in the selected data source that are not yet included in the data source view.

• Filter
  Type the filter used to restrict the objects listed in Grid, and then click the button to filter the listed tables.

• Show system objects
  Select to display system objects for the selected data source in Grid.
