How to: Add or Remove an Image (Report Builder 1.0)

Images, such as logos, can be added to your reports, and then resized and repositioned anywhere within the report. The image must be saved in one of the following file formats: Windows Bitmap (.bmp), Joint Photographic Experts Group (.jpg), Graphics Interchange Format (.gif), Portable Network Graphics (.png), or Java-Python Extension (.jpe).

To add an image to a report

  1. On the Insert menu, click Picture.

    Note

    Alternatively, you can right-click anywhere in the design area, point to Insert, and than select Picture.

    The Open dialog box appears.

  2. Navigate to the image that you want to use.

  3. Select the image, and then click Open.

    The image is added to the design area.

To remove an image from a report

  1. In the design area, select the image that you want to remove.

  2. On the Edit menu, click Delete.

    Alternatively, you can select the image and then press the Delete key.
