Troubleshooting Tools (Integration Services)

Integration Services does not include any stand-alone troubleshooting tools. However, Integration Services provides many valuable features that you can use to troubleshoot packages at both design time and run time.

Design Time Troubleshooting Features

At design time, use the following troubleshooting features in Integration Services:

  • Package validation

  • Breakpoints and package debugging

  • Progress window

  • Data viewers in the data flow

  • Package logging, including logging of external provider messages and errors
